The massive shift of commerce, communications and education to web-based applications has led to strong and growing demand for professionals with web development skills. For current developers or potential career switchers, knowledge of specific programming languages is essential. This webinar focuses on JavaScript - a versatile language that enables website interactivity for countless sites, as well as the back-end functionality that powers interactivity, data collection and more.

JavaScript is free to use, easy to learn and is actively supported by a massive open-source community of developers. Many modern applications are implemented using various JavaScript frameworks. Webinar highlights:

  • An overview of JavaScript and how it is used to support web-based communications, apps, commerce and more.
  • Strategies to learn JavaScript and career opportunities for developers.
  • Q&A with our expert.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects job growth for web developers to remain far above the national average (for all occupations) through 2027, so developers with Javascript know-how should continue to find rewarding opportunities in the years to come.
